HAIRWIRED is deeply personal to me
For as long as I can remember, hair has been my way of connecting with people. When communication in public settings didn’t come naturally, hair gave me another language: one based on creativity, touch and trust.
There’s something special about the relationship that develops between stylist and client. Sitting together for an appointment and sharing a safe space creates a beautiful bond.
When I’m doing someone’s hair, I feel wired into that connection. To the person, their individuality, their story and the way they want to feel.
That’s where HAIRWIRED comes from: hair as my craft, and wired as a personal connection in everything I do.
My relationship with hair began long before it became my profession
I developed a rather determined habit of cutting my own hair as a toddler, seemingly with the confidence that I knew what I was doing. Looking back, perhaps the career path was already making itself clear. I just started practising a little earlier than most.
I’ve always been captivated by the individuality of hair: its texture, colour, movement, length and endless possibilities. What began as childhood curiosity became a lifelong passion and, eventually, my career.
Why styling became my speciality
As my career progressed, I developed increased skin sensitivities and began experiencing significant reactions to hair dyes and other chemicals. However, stepping away from hair was never an option for me.
Now my approach is centred around exceptional styling, individual attention and genuine inclusivity.
I believe luxury is not simply about the finished look. It’s about how you feel throughout the entire experience: being listened to, understood and treated with care.
Whether your hair is straight, wavy, curly, coily, textured, fine, thick, long or short, you deserve a stylist who understands its individuality and knows how to work with it.
And if you have a scalp condition or heightened sensitivity, you deserve to feel equally comfortable and respected.
My chair is a space where every head of hair is welcome.

I had booked to have a blow dry for an event. I was greeted and looked after by the lovely Gigi. She asked to see a photo of my outfit and suggested a mermaid wave style and she was right! I had the best blow dry here by Gigi. I have never had a blow dry like it. I’m self conscious of my hair because it’s very fine and flat but has a frizzy texture to it and is naturally curly. Most hairdressers don’t know how to deal with it and can’t get the volume in. However I was amazed how good it was here and kept its volume all day and all night. I was I and out in 30 mins. Truly incredible.

A personal understanding of inclusivity
As a teenager, I developed psoriasis on my scalp. It had a significant impact on my confidence, and one particular experience shaped the kind of stylist I wanted to become.
During a severe flare-up, my mother and I were asked to leave a salon because they mistook my psoriasis for lice. I remember the embarrassment my mother felt and, more importantly, the distress and confusion I experienced myself.
There was very little understanding of scalp conditions at the time, especially within hairdressing in post-Soviet Lithuania. That experience stayed with me.
Rather than discouraging me from pursuing hairdressing, it gave me a much deeper sense of purpose. No client should ever feel judged, embarrassed or unwelcome because of their hair or skin condition.
That principle remains at the heart of my work today.
